Project: Little People’s Park Regional Stormwater Facility, Beaverton, OR
MZLA provided planting mitigation and restoration design services for the rehabilitation of a three-acre wetland and regional stormwater facility adjacent to this Beaverton park. The firm provided recommendations for enhancing the natural area for wildlife habitat, developed methodologies for eliminating invasive species, created a planting plan, and designed a long-term maintenance approach for the location. Two years later, the mature plants have reestablished a natural habitat for the stormwater ponds at the park.
