The Headlee Walkway provides a safe pedestrian route connecting Millennium
Park to 3rd Street. This quarter-mile trail is sited between an active
heavy rail line and the edge of Lakewood Bay. Improvements include an 8'-wide
pathway, habitat restoration plantings, fish habitat enhancements, custom
fencing. and lighting. Marianne Zarkin was the project manager at MacLeod
Reckord when completing this work.
