A study of possible routes for a trail connecting Smith and Bybee Wetlands Natural Area with nearby trails, parks, and neighborhoods. The study highlights the pros and cons of four alternative alignments that cross the Columbia Slough, two Union Pacific rail lines, and several City of Portland arterial streets. The project employed an environmental assessment methodology to evaluate alternative routes. Marianne Zarkin was the project manager at MacLeod Reckord when completing this work.
