Project: Oleson Road/Fanno Creek Bridge Mitigation, Beaverton, OR
The intersection of SW Oleson Road and SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway comes at an odd angle, causing numerous accidents each year. In advance of realigning the intersection, ODOT and Washington County built a new longer, wider Oleson Road bridge over Fanno Creek south of the intersection and above the flood plain. Improvements also included the addition of bicycle lanes, consistent sidewalks, street lighting, and storm system upgrades.
MZLA provided mitigation planting designs and construction documents for the areas under and around the bridge and adjacent to the creek, in addition to other street planting plans. Mitigation plans were reviewed and approved and CWS.
